Watercolors of Groix

The Groix Watercolor Workshop and Boutique is open seasonally, at the entrance to the village of Groix Island. Sophie and Pascal will welcome you to their permanent exhibition and offer classes during the summer.

Pascal, a watercolorist for 20 years

Formerly an art director in an agency and a lecturer in an art school, Pascal France has been living between Groix and Paris for over 20 years.
His approach is thus to paint the sea, the landscapes of Groix On location, outdoors: to capture the light, to absorb the surrounding nature, the flavors, the sea spray. To render the sea, the skies, the mineral, the plant life using the transparency of watercolor which allows for a rapid transcription, as in a photograph, of what the eye perceives.

Summer courses open to all

The Groix Watercolors offer a simple and accessible method for everyone, from beginners to experienced users.
The courses are therefore taught in small groups, in the morning from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. It is also possible to take introductory courses up to long-term training courses.
Finally, the equipment is provided, from the paintbrush to the seat.

Sophie also organizes the Ressources fair in Groix every year during the month of May.
