Chien Noir's expertise is an artisanal know-how derived from ropework techniques, initially developed for offshore racing and then transposed to "Parcabout" boats and now also adapted to creations entirely made in the workshop at Fort du Haut Grognon in Groix.

A rope maker who reinvented the use of rope

Cédric Chauvaud, an experienced ropeworker, is the founder of the company Black Dog ®. Since 2008, the company has been developing suspended parks all over the world, such as the Parcabout de Groix.

At the end of 2014, the company invested in the Fort du Haut-Grognon, a former battery dating from the late 19th century, located in the northwest of the island of Groix, in Morbihan. There, it established its workshops, places of invention and creation. It is also where all the net installations are manufactured before being shipped to the future Parcabout and integrated into the chosen natural sites.

Ropeworks – Rope-making workshop

At TOUT-EN-BOUT, you will find swings, hammocks, belts, bags… made with French and European raw materials (Spain, Germany, Portugal) and… lots of love! You can also find the splicing tool of your dreams or the right knife because we offer a range of very high-quality ropework tools.

Everything is handmade in the Fort du Grognon.

And if you're short of "line" to make a halyard, a sheet or to carry out a Dyneema lashing, come to the shop! Lines are available for sale by the piece.
