Escal'Ouest

Escal'Ouest is a maritime company based in Lorient that offers boat crossings from Lorient to Port-Louis to Groix from April to September, tours of the island of Groix in the summer, and also introductory fishing trips.

Lorient – Groix crossing

Escal'ouest offers the boat crossing Departing from Lorient La Base, with free, unlimited, unsupervised parking. Crossings from April to September, every weekend, on public holidays, and every day in July and August.

• Departure from Lorient-La Base at 09:00 and 16:30
• Departure from Port Tudy on Groix at 17:45 and 10:15

The shipping company also offers additional services on Saturdays in July and August and extra boats from July 14 to August 24, 2025.

Join retired fishermen for a 3-hour fishing trip around the island of Groix with Escal'Ouest. Enjoy the thrill of the line, especially since you might even catch some mackerel and whiting for your midday barbecue!
